As part of their inaugural programme, mTech.Academy is bringing 100 Year 10 students from 10 Northern Ireland schools to the Youth Mobile Festival (YoMo) at MWC19 in Barcelona. The students will get to experience the power of ‘Intelligent Connectivity’ first-hand, while also gaining insights into the role of technology in their education, future careers and everyday life.
mTech.Academy founder Diane Morrow will also be speaking in the Teacher Track at YoMo. She will present a case study of mTech.Academy, outlining how the initiative is delivering experiential learning for the future of work for hundreds of students across Northern Ireland. Her presentation will underscore the integral connection between industry and education and how this will create new opportunities for students, teachers and industry alike.
